Typically, Friday the 13th is a date that occurs on the calendar one time a year. At most, there can be three Friday the 13th dates in a year, but in 2022 our only Friday the 13th is this week, on May 13th. Some say it’s considered an unlucky day, or a day that can become filled with unfortunate events that wouldn’t have happened on any other day.
