Singing Machine is currently seeking an Executive Assistant that will provide high-level administrative support to our C-suite. The Executive Assistant will work in a professional hybrid office environment.

Essential Functions:

  1. Keeps the executives’ communications organized and prioritizes the correspondences. Check voicemails and emails, responding to the messages in the order of priority.
  2. Manages executives’ daily calendars, including prioritizing the scheduling of meetings of the most sensitive matter, confirming appointments, writing itineraries, and arranging travel and transportation when necessary.
  3. Screens, filters, and prioritizes visitors and/or phone calls. Welcomes visitors, identifies the purpose of their visit and directs them to the appropriate department. Answers phone calls in a polite and professional manner.
  4. Provides administrative assistance, including but not limited to, writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on behalf of the executives.
  5. Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff.
  6. Initiates and implements processes to manage projects, information, and people.
  7. Organizes meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and arranging catering when necessary.
  8. Prepares summaries and reports.
  9. Performs minor accounting, legal, and sales duties.
  10. Researches prospective clients and maintains high-level business relationships.
  11. Uses discretion, judgement, and knowledge of SMC to facilitate the executives’ activities and maintain confidentiality.
  12. Manages expense reports, invoicing, and reviewing AMEX statement for accuracy.
  13. Performs additional duties as assigned by executives.
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience working with national mass & regional retail channel and ecommerce companies in Consumer Electronics, Toys, Lifestyle, Home Goods, or related industries.
  • An understanding of the sales process from purchase order to on-retail shelf placement.
  • Knowledge of order processing and shipping procedures.

In this role you will be working on:

Analytics & Forecasting:

  • Analyze weekly POS reports, highlighting trends and providing insight reporting.
  • Provide future forecast & SKU needs based on channel demands and sell-thru trends utilizing historical sales and trend data.
  • Build relationships with cross functional company teams; merchandising & planning, internal sales, operations, inventory planning, product managers, overseas office, other company retail analysts and outside vendors.
  • Presenting sales analytic reports based on industry trends to Senior Executive Team (CEO, CFO and CRO).

Sales & Marketing Support:

Our Product Specialist is responsible for researching, developing, and launching new karaoke products from initial ideation to final, retail-ready products. This role will manage a specific product line and be the product knowledge expert for their given category. Our Product Specialist will understand product trends, competition, opportunities, and technologies with the objective to grow and expand a line of successful karaoke products. This professional will report into our Director of Product and will work in a professional hybrid office environment.
